Podcasts

Podcasting has become an important outlet for me both musically and in my advocacy for neurodivergent people.

My two neurodiversity-related podcasts are below, and are both available via all major podcast platforms.

glitchy switch

My personal podcast of short monologues where I talk about the different experiences I’ve had navigating life after diagnosis with ADHD and autism.

The goal of this is to provide a human face and some comfort either for those going through a similar journey or people just interested or looking to be good allies.

S3 E11 – Late diagnosis grief: half my life before I understood myself Glitchy Switch: What ADHD feels like to an adult.

In this episode of Glitchy Switch, I talk about something that’s been sneaking in behind all the relief of late diagnosis: grief. Since my autism diagnosis — and especially after the recent tribe and “safe people” realisations — I’ve started feeling a growing sadness, and even flashes of anger, about only now discovering what living a good, authentic life is supposed to feel like… at nearly fifty. In this episode: Why feeling better now can unexpectedly trigger grief about the years before. The anger that can come from realising how long you spent sat on rails that didn’t fit. What I mean when I say this isn’t about wisdom. Why art and creativity have become the sharpest reminder of what I missed. How I’m holding the tension and moving through it. we too are one

The podcast I produce in partnership with AuDHD UK to raise awareness of the charity and the experience of people with autism and/or ADHD.

It’s a series of interviews with all sorts of people with different perspectives on neurodiversity ranging from education to religion and corporate life.

S2 E9 BONUS EPISODE: The One With All The Teachers – Hampshire SEND Conference February '26 We Too Are One: Making a world more inclusive for AuDHD people.

A special edition of the show where for the first time we do an outside broadcast from the Hampshire SEND Conference held at the Utilita Bowl in Southampton on February 6th 2026. We were there at the invitation of friend of the show Laura Hamson to see how the special educational needs of children, such as those with autism and ADHD, are being met and engaged with by teaching staff across the county. It was an inspiring and insightful visit which both illuminated the challenges and the rewards of the work that the staff do, plus many interesting parallels and food for thought for those of us in the professional world. Special thanks to Laura and all the Hampshire SENCOs who made me feel so welcome on the day, and took the time to chat 🙏🏻 In this episode, we cover topics including: The need for teaching staff and children to co-regulate for best results. How AI used creatively and responsibly can benefit children, parents and staff. The preparation required for young people passing from the teaching environment into working life. The parallels between the learning environment and the workplace. Examples of positive leadership styles when implementing inclusivity at scale with limited resources.
